Cruisers Yachts is preparing the 45 VTR and 45 VTR EC for their public debut at Fort Lauderdale, with a broad main deck and accommodation designed to extend time aboard.
Two forthcoming 45-foot models will enlarge Cruisers Yachts' VTR range when they appear at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, scheduled for 28 October–1 November 2026.
Both have a beam of 13 feet 10 inches, allowing the main deck to occupy a generous footprint on one level. A summer kitchen supports outdoor entertaining, while a private bathroom with a separate shower adds practicality beyond a short afternoon outing.
The hull beneath the social space
Developed with DLBA Naval Architects, the running surface combines a fine entry, strakes and quasi-steps. The builder describes this as a hybrid stepped hull, with efficiency and ride quality among its design aims. The term refers to hull geometry, not a hybrid propulsion announcement.
The preview also shows a folding side opening and an aft entertaining module. Full impressions of handling will have to follow the boats' arrival on the water.
