Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show returns to Discovery Bay, Hong Kong, on 6–8 November 2026, with a new pavilion focused on Zhuhai's marine industry. The addition brings yachts and equipment exhibitors into the same setting, giving visitors another way to explore the businesses behind the boats on display.

A Regional Addition at Discovery Bay

The organiser confirms the dates and venue for Lantau Yacht Club Boat Show 2026 – Festa Nautica. Asia-Pacific Boating reports that the new Zhuhai pavilion will feature approximately ten yachts and ten marine-technology booths. Multihulls World separately describes a similar planned mix.

These are preview figures for the pavilion. They should be read as announced participation, rather than a completed attendance count or the total number of boats across the show.

The addition gives a geographic focus to part of the exhibition. For a visitor, it offers a place to begin asking about the companies, products and contacts represented from Zhuhai, while leaving room to compare them with the wider display.

Boats and Equipment in the Same Conversation

A boat on the water helps a visitor understand scale and arrangement. An equipment discussion can then bring attention to a particular installation or the people supporting it. Having both types of exhibitor nearby makes that second conversation easier to imagine within the same visit.

For someone considering ownership, useful questions might begin with the intended boating area and the support available there. Who can explain the fitted equipment? Which business would remain the point of contact after an enquiry? What further information would be needed before comparing one proposal with another?

The pavilion announcement does not establish service coverage, dealer agreements or ownership arrangements for individual exhibitors. Those details belong in direct discussions with the businesses concerned. Its value at this stage is the opportunity to find the right people to ask.

Planning a More Focused Visit

For AUVEMARE readers, the new pavilion suggests a way to approach the show with a purpose beyond moving from berth to berth. Choose a few questions in advance, then allow the exhibits to make those questions more specific.

Someone looking at a new type of boat might begin with the way it would be used at home. A professional visitor may instead be interested in a particular supplier or product category. Neither needs to treat the size of the display as a measure of how useful the day will be.

The November event has yet to take place, so any assessment of its results must wait. The programme currently offers a clear invitation: a waterfront visit in Hong Kong with an added route into Zhuhai's marine offering. The quality of the exchanges, and the information visitors take away, will give that addition its practical significance.
