Through Destination Yacht, Marine West is extending Fountaine Pajot catamaran distribution to the Seychelles, Mauritius and Reunion, with charter management also planned in two markets.

Marine West is taking its Fountaine Pajot business beyond Brittany through Destination Yacht, which will represent the catamaran builder in the Seychelles, Mauritius and Reunion.

A Regional Expansion

The move extends the French distributor’s commercial reach into three Indian Ocean markets. Marine West already operates across four locations in southern Brittany and represents several leisure marine brands.

Florian Savinel, a Fountaine Pajot specialist within the company, has been appointed to oversee the brand’s sales activities in the region.

Sales Alongside Charter Management

Destination Yacht also plans to provide charter management in the Seychelles and Mauritius. The proposed arrangement would allow owners to make their catamarans available for charter when they are not using them.

The expansion therefore combines boat distribution with an ownership model linked to local charter operations. The announcement does not establish an equivalent charter-management offering in Reunion, where the confirmed scope concerns distribution.
