Minn Kota Unites Fishing Technology with Humminbird Imaging

Minn Kota is bringing fish finders, electric trolling motors and boat-positioning tools into one brand system, with Humminbird Imaging providing its sonar technology.

Announced on 6 October 2026, the system connects compatible equipment across navigation, mapping, sonar and shallow-water anchoring. Humminbird’s technology continues under the Humminbird Imaging name.

The launch includes X Series fish finders and navigation displays, new trolling-motor products, Minn Kota Maps and a Fishing App that replaces the One-Boat Network App.

From sonar information to boat control

Draw & Navigate allows a route drawn on a compatible display to guide a trolling motor. Other functions include depth monitoring and integrated shallow-water anchor control. Availability depends on the equipment selected; these capabilities do not apply universally to older installations.

Minn Kota says support continues for existing Humminbird owners. Compatible XPLORE, APEX and SOLIX G3 displays can receive updates introducing new system capabilities. Additional products, including live sonar and 360 Imaging, are planned for early 2027.
