Expanded service capabilities and new leadership bring a broader maintenance and refit offering to PORT 32’s New River facility.

PORT 32 Fort Lauderdale is expanding its role in yacht maintenance, combining its New River marina and boatyard with a network of specialist contractors. The development brings more of the work behind yacht ownership into a single location.

Capacity Beyond the Berth

According to the company, the wet basin can accommodate vessels up to 180 feet, while a 150-metric-ton Travelift supports haul-outs for yachts of approximately 120 feet. These are distinct operating limits: berthing capacity should not be read as lifting capacity.

Available services span hull refinishing, composite repairs, propulsion, electronics and onboard systems. Owners and captains can coordinate different trades at the property rather than arrange successive moves between facilities.

Experienced Leadership

Brian Kelley has been appointed general manager, bringing more than three decades of marina and shipyard experience.

For AUVEMARE, the practical appeal lies in coordination. A service destination becomes more useful when access to specialists, clear scheduling and communication support the same maintenance plan. PORT 32’s expanded offering places that operational side of ownership at the centre of its proposition.
