At 54.83 metres, the all-aluminium Riva 54Metri is the largest yacht the builder has completed, combining a four-deck layout with expansive spaces close to the water.

Riva’s 54Metri takes a familiar design identity into a substantially larger format. At 54.83 metres overall, with a 9.18-metre beam and gross tonnage below 500 GT, the all-aluminium yacht became the largest Riva yet built. It made its Monaco Yacht Show debut in September 2026.

The project brings together Officina Italiana Design, the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and its engineering department. Its four decks accommodate up to ten guests in a main-deck owner’s suite and four additional cabins. Separate circulation for guests and crew is intended to give the open social areas a quieter, more private feel.

A closer relationship with the water

The aft beach area is a particular focus. Riva describes a pool and fold-out side sections that expand the lower-deck space to more than 60 square metres. It is an arrangement that turns the stern into a place to spend the day, rather than simply a route between the yacht and the sea.

Large glazing and outdoor terraces carry that connection through the rest of the design. The result is a yacht whose scale is evident in its volume, while its most appealing spaces appear designed around simple moments: looking out, stepping outside and being close to the water.

Riva lists a top speed of 18 knots and an approximate range of 3,600 nautical miles at 11 knots for the stated engine configuration. Those figures add long-distance capability to a flagship whose defining story remains its treatment of space and proportion.
