Yacht Rendezvous 2026 Brings Superyacht Philanthropy to Fort Lauderdale

Returning to Fort Lauderdale on November 6–7, Yacht Rendezvous 2026 will bring the superyacht community together to support children and teenagers through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

A Waterfront Gathering With a Local Purpose

Pier Sixty-Six will host the 37th edition of Yacht Rendezvous, a charity gathering connecting yacht owners and guests with the young people its fundraising supports. According to the organisers, the event has raised more than $30 million across its history—not including the forthcoming edition.

The programme begins with a dockside party and yacht hop on Friday, followed by a black-tie gala and live auction on Saturday. The gala will also feature the young people served by the clubs, keeping their experiences central to the evening.

Meeting the Young People Behind the Cause

In an interview with Megayacht News, co-chairs Carla Taylor, Jessica Busacca and Mike Busacca describe how meeting club members has shaped their involvement. Their accounts highlight the everyday work behind the fundraising: learning resources, opportunities to explore interests and supportive places to spend time.

“No child is ever turned away when they walk through that door.”

Carla Taylor makes this point in the Megayacht News interview, describing the welcome children receive at the clubs.

For prospective supporters, those encounters offer a clearer understanding of the cause. A conversation about a teenager’s ambitions can make the purpose of a donation more tangible than an auction catalogue ever could.
