Raymarine’s CAM400 adds onboard video monitoring to compatible Axiom chartplotters, helping operators see decks, swim platforms and other areas outside their direct view.
Introduced on 30 September 2026, the compact marine IP camera provides high-definition video in daylight and low-light conditions. Potential installations include aft decks, cockpits, side decks and utility spaces.
A rear-facing installation can provide another view while manoeuvring astern. The camera is intended for recreational and professional vessels, with use cases extending from docking to monitoring activity at anchor.
A camera feed with navigation context
When paired with Raymarine’s AR200 sensor and a compatible display, CAM400 supports ClearCruise augmented reality. Navigation information, including AIS targets and waypoints, can appear over the live image.
The benefit of an installation will depend on camera placement and system compatibility. A video feed adds information for the person at the helm; it does not replace a lookout or confirmation from the crew.
